Job summary
Are you a Band 5 Occupational Therapist with experience and looking to make a difference? We're excited to invite you to join our Inpatient Learning Disability and Autism Service at Brooklands Hospital.
This is a developmental role where, after successfully completing an agreed professional competencies action plan, you'll have the opportunity to progress to a Band 6 position after a minimum of 12 months.
Brooklands Hospital is an Inpatient Service for individuals with a Learning Disability and Autism. Occupational Therapy plays a key role in our treatment pathways, providing tailored assessment and intervention to support individuals throughout their inpatient journey.
You'll bring experience working with people with Learning Disabilities and Autism, along with an understanding of the assessment and management of this client group. While experience in Secure or Forensic settings isn't essential, we do welcome applicants who are aware of and interested in working within Learning Disability and Autism inpatient services.
As part of our friendly and well-established multidisciplinary teams, you'll have plenty of opportunities to grow your skills and knowledge working with a diverse and often complex client group. You'll receive excellent support through supervision, as well as regular opportunities for professional development and networking.
