An opportunity has arisen in the Community Physiotherapy to offer you a post within the service. You will work as an integral part of a friendly Community Physiotherapy team, supporting registered staff to provide value based intervention.
The Adult Community Physiotherapy Service is a dynamic and rapidly developing service treating patients in their own homes and at Newfield House.
This is an ideal opportunity to work in a supportive environment within a team of experienced physiotherapists and assistant practitioners delivering high quality physiotherapy to Coventry patients in their own homes.
We are committed to providing clinical supervision and supporting continuing professional development. As part of this role the post holder will be expected to work towards a set of clinical competencies with direct supervision, training and support.
You must have a relevant NVQ level 3, or an NVQ level 2 with extensive applicable experience and knowledge. Experience of working in a rehabilitation setting is desirable, with awareness and understanding of the role of the Physiotherapist. You should be able to display sound communication and practical skills
Main duties of the job

You will be able to illustrate and reflect upon complex patient management and demonstrate sound clinical reasoning. You will be able to prioritise your workload and time effectively to support appropriate caseload management and delegation.
There will also be opportunities for participating in various service development projects and attending regular in-service training.
At present the Planned Community Therapy service operates from Monday to Friday core hours, however the job description reflects a seven day service in case of changes to service needs.

Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust (CWPT) has taken the decision to no longer continue to provide Adult Physical Health Services, when the contract expires at the end of March 2024, as there are more suitable providers within the wider NHS local system.
Following a review of suitable providers to take forward the contract, the Coventry and Warwickshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) has confirmed its intention to award the contract for the provision of Adult Physical Health services to University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire NHS Trust (UHCW).
Your application to work in Adult Physical Health services will not be adversely impacted by the change in provider. Should you be successful in your application and commence employment prior to the transfer, your contract of employment (that is your terms and conditions of service as at the point of transfer) will automatically transfer to the new organisation, under the "Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006" (TUPE) as amended by the "Collective Redundancies and Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) (Amendment) Regulations 2014".
Should you be successful in your application and commence employment after the transfer, your contract of employment will be issued by the new provider of Adult Physical Health Services
