Additionally, these teams cover large geographical areas.

One of our Peer Recovery Workers describes the work in a nutshell:

"I would firstly say that in terms of recovery we all sit on a continuum and my role is to help guide people as best of possible along this journey for the best possible recovery outcome for them. Also, I will help them and provide tools that will continually support them throughout their life."

Please note many Trust interviews take place through Microsoft Teams, this can be downloaded either through the App Store or Google Play for use on your phone/tablet.

You will evidence and show visible recovery; showing that change is possible and giving a strong message of hope. You will be a positive role model, helping to inspire, motivate, guide and support people in working towards their recovery. You will help build understanding and trust so that people are more able to work with our teams and partners, helping people move to a positive future.

For more information on this role please see the attached support information. This will give you a better overview of the job role and requirements.

The ideal people will work side by side and assist dynamic multidisciplinary teams of workers providing support to people experiencing psychosis. This is a fabulous opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment as you work alongside experienced senior staff and receive regular supervision within the service. There will be a range of internal and external training opportunities. You will be in a position to develop the role and be a part of a service undergoing exciting organisational change. The role is relatively new to our Trust and continues to develop. You will be very welcome.
