Job summary
We are utilising Community Mental Health Transformation funding to develop a new forensic community mental health team.
We are looking for an Assistant Psychologist who is passionate about making a difference to the lives of people experiencing psychosis, but who also present with risk and behaviours that bring them in to the forensic arena. You will form part of a multi-agency multidisciplinary team to include Nursing, Social Work, OT, support work, and Psychiatry (This list is not exhaustive).

There is an opportunity for Band 5 Assistant Psychologist to work across Coventry and Warwickshire,

Main duties of the job
Our Assistant Psychologists will provide psychological interventions to a wide range of adults presenting with mental health needs and associated forensic risks. You will be part of a mental health approach which will be multiagency, ensuring the wider determinants of mental health are considered as part of the service users' formulation. You will offer psychological assessment, formulation, and therapeutic intervention, using evidence-based programmes that may be individual or group based under the supervision of an experienced qualified clinical psychologist. We will also provide opportunities to participate in research and training delivery.
You will receive regular supervision from an experienced clinical psychologist and will be line managed by an experienced senior healthcare professional.
