Dental Officer - Band A

Full time, permanent role

We have an exciting opportunity to join the friendly, highly motivated Coventry Community Dental Service (CCDS) based in the City of Coventry Health Centre. We require an enthusiastic and conscientious clinician to join our professional and supportive team of Dentists, Orthodontists, Dental Therapists, Dental Nurses and Oral Health Promotion team to provide patient focused community dentistry.

The Community Dental Service is a specialised service that provides dental treatment for children, adults and older people who, because of additional needs such as learning disabilities, physical disabilities or vulnerability, are unable to access general dental care.

The successful applicant should have experience in provision of special care dentistry to all ages with more complex needs and conditions including the use of sedation and general anesthesia. They should hold a current registration with the GDC and NHS performer number.
