We are looking to recruiting Registered Nurses and we need your help! Experience in Mental health is not essential however you must be motivated, kind, compassionate and be willing to work as part of a team, with a can do attitude to be successful in this role.
We need people who can offer the flexibility to work with the challenges of working shift patterns across 24 hours a day, 7 days per week in a very busy inpatient environment. But we will in return offer opportunity and experience that will support you in developing skills and career development.

Main duties of the job
As a Band 5 Nurse with strong clinical skills, clear decision-making, and good risk assessment skills, you will work within a cohesive team. You must have an empathic approach to enable and promote recovery. The successful applicants will be able to demonstrate a high level of verbal and non-verbal communication skills. As a Band 5 Nurse you will find that much of your time is spent in face to face contact with our patients as this job puts patient care central to all that we do. A degree of flexibility in approach is required along with a willingness to learn whilst working in an environment that can at times be challenging.
The Aspen Centre aims to provide care which is modern, patient centred and of the highest possible standard. There is an emphasis on collaboration between the patient and the clinical team and the development of a therapeutic alliance.
