Team Lead Family Therapy - Band 7
22.5 hrs per week / permanent role
Our Family Therapy team is growing and therefore we are looking for someone who is interested in leading the team. It is a passionate team who thoroughly love working with CYP and their families to help resolve mental health issues. The team delivers family therapy as well as family work and NVR support to parents/carers. We also offer training options to workers wanting to develop their expertise and become systemic family psychotherapists.

- Educated to degree level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior supervisory level
- Relevant qualification or significant experience in clinical children's field - mental health, neurodevelopment, learning disability
Knowledge and skills
Essential
- Must be able to demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate and present complex information to a variety of internal and external audiences
- Must be able to demonstrate an ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across organisational and professional boundaries.
- Strong understanding of national policy in relation to health services for children and young people
- Good interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Demonstrable capability to plan over short and medium term timeframes and adjust plans and resource requirements accordingly
- Ability to champion a more effective use of technology within the service and new ways of working
- Ability to positively motivate staff
- Ability to manage poor performance
