12 month secondment opportunity (see attached SA form)
An exciting secondment opportunity (with a view for it to be made substantive following ratification of job description) has arisen within Learning Disabilities/ASD Directorate for a fulltime Personal Assistant.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to undertake the role of Personal Assistant. You must have experience of working as a Personal Assistant. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative and project management supporting the Senior Management Team for Learning Disabilities/ASD Directorate.

Main duties of the job

Primary duties will include; diary management, coordinating internal and external meetings, preparation of agendas and associated documentation, taking minutes and providing support to the Covid19 LD Hub.
Working closely with the Senior Management Team on project work, responsibility for maintaining Action Trackers, spreadsheets, data bases
Combining high standards and commitment with experience and excellent communication both written and verbal alongside having exceptional organisational skills are essential for this post. You must be able to provide evidence of working in a busy environment, utilising advanced secretarial and administrative skills including minute/note taking experience. The successful applicant will have an excellent knowledge in the use of a variety of databases including Excel and PowerPoint etc. and ideally some internal systems. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, & therefore require the ability to multitask and prioritise your own workload and that of others, working as part of a team and have a professional attitude.
You must be able to build effective working relationships, be approachable and accessible with excellent communication and organisational skills.
About us
The successful applicant must be able to work core hours 8.30 am - 5.00 pm and a physical presence at Brooklands is expected for the majority of the week.
Applicants will be shortlisted and interviewed in accordance with the Trust's Recruitment and Selection Policy.
