Deputy Team Manager - Band 6

Full time, permanent role

We have an opportunity for a Band 6 Deputy Team Manager to join the NW and Rugby recovery Team IPU 11-17. We are looking to recruit an experienced, innovative, compassionate, and enthusiastic Band 6 registered professional who is looking for the opportunity to start a career path in leadership.

We are a supportive, hardworking multi-disciplinary team and the post holder will have shared responsibilities. This role will enable the successful candidate to develop their leadership skills by supporting the team manager in a range of management focused tasks to ensure the safe and effective delivery of the service. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to use their professional and clinical skills to deliver evidence-based interventions with service users with a range of mental health (non-Psychotic) symptoms.

You will be responsible for supporting and working alongside the Team Manager in the day-to-day management and clinical duties of the team. You will be required to supervise and oversee the clinical staff including managing absence and performance. You will be required to support in the monitoring of key performance indicators and targets and participate in service delivery, ensuring the delivery of safety and quality. Innovation and a creative approach are encouraged and being a positive role model is essential.

The successful applicant will have a reduced caseload and support clinical work which may include assessments and minimal care co-ordination.

Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust provides a full range of expanding physical, mental health and learning disability services to children, young adults, adults and older adults over many sites across Coventry, Warwickshire and Solihull.

Services are provided to a population of over one million people living in Coventry and Warwickshire and also a wider geographical area in some of our specialist services, we see on average around 5,000 patients every day.
