Our
trainee pharmacist positions allow the trainee to develop and apply the skills
acquired at undergraduatre level.
Leraning is experiential and the trainee will develop their skills by
providing pharmaceutical care and dispensary services. is a trainng role
accredited by the General Pharmaceutical CXouncil of Great Britain
Main duties of the job
The
post holder will follow a structured timetable rotating through the main
hospital specialities. During the
training year the trainee will gain the skills and knowledge to meet the GPhC
learning outcomes and pass the registration assessment.

We provide hospital services from two acute sites - Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham. We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester-le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale as well as over 80 other community based settings and providing care in patients' homes.
