Job summary
Clinical
administration is a key function in the management and day to day functionality
of the countywide adult bladder and bowel team and the patients they care
for. The purpose of this role is to work
with and support the adult bladder and bowel team with their clinical
administration functions associated with the management of patients; accepting
incoming tasks / emails and referrals to the team, setting up clinic ledgers
and making amendments as needed.
Main duties of the job
oTo be responsible for the accepting and completing of
electronic tasks with the help of the nursing staff as required.
oWork with both SystmOne and an online ordering system to
contribute to patient care.
oCarry out administrative and housekeeping tasks to support
the service and patient care.
oSupport Lead nurses with Home Delivery Service receipting
and monitoring of invoices / budget.
oComplete Cardea ordering and monitor budget accordingly.
oParticipate and provide training around the electronic
patient management system and functioning of the team in their area.
oProvide and receive routine information requiring tact or
persuasive skills
oProvide and receive complex or sensitive information,
dealing with and understanding behaviours.
oProvide advice, instruction or training to the
team.
