you! We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic and motivated midwife to join our
Antenatal Clinic team here at CDDFT. We are searching for a committed, dynamic
and reliable midwife to join our team, working in our antenatal clinic sites across
Durham.
You will join a warm and supportive team of
midwives who truly care about patient experience. We welcome applications from
experienced midwives who are currently registered to work in the UK. You will
be supported and welcomed to the trust with a bespoke training package through
which we will support you to settle into your new role and join us in
delivering exceptional care to the families of County Durham and Darlington.
Main duties of the job
You will work within the antenatal clinics at our sites in across
Durham. You will work closely with our multi-disciplinary team of professionals
supporting consultant clinics and undertaking midwifery led tasks within the
departments. You will provide a high standard of clinical care to birthing
people and be responsible for the assessment, evaluation and implementation of
high risk care pathways.

We provide hospital services from two acute sites - Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham. We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester-le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale as well as over 80 other community based settings and providing care in patients' homes.
