Main duties of the job
We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and experienced Band 3 Urgent Care Health Care Assistant.
Our Urgent Treatment centre treats a wide variety of illness and injury across all age ranges. The HCA/Driver will work in a supporting role, providing high quality patient centred care under the supervision of the Urgent Care Practitioners and General Practitioners.
The Urgent Care Service also provides home visits by our clinicians who require a Healthcare Assistant / Driver to transport and The HCA wil carry out routine HCA duties , e.g recording observations, taking blood samples, monitoring and escorting patients under the supervision of the managing clinician.
The role also involves perfomring ECG recordings, carrying out minor dressings and applying immobilisation techniques such as splints plaster of paris backslabs.
Main duties also include restocking consulting rooms and home visiting car as well as perfomring car checks.
Training will be provided.
In addition our HCA/Driver will provide a patient transport service to support patient access to Urgent treatment Centre appointments as required, therefore a full valid UK driving license is required
