Safeguarding at CDDFT. The team are well established, dynamic and innovative.
This role is a Band 8b senior position within the organisation, who will
provide strategic leadership across the safeguarding portfolio of safeguarding
Adults, Children, Children in Care, Learning Disabilities, Domestic Abuse,
Mental Capacity and Dementia and Delerium.
The Head of Safeguarding will work closely with the
safeguarding and senior leadership team, to provide assurance that the
organisation is meeting statutory safeguarding requirements. They will also
ensure the achievement of key performance indicators for safeguarding across
the organisation.
The role is open to existing named professionals
across the organisation. The successful candidate will provide compassionate
leadership across the portfolio, maintaining their robust knowledge, skills and
experience within safeguarding practice. They will inform the Trust Executive
of key safeguarding agendas and actively participate effective and
collaborative working with internal stakeholders, multi-agency Partners and
Designated Safeguarding Professionals.

Trust Board.
