An
opportunity has arisen for a qualified dental nurse to work in our busy Oral
Surgery Outpatient Department part time. The ideal person will be an
enthusiastic hard working person. The successful candidate must hold a current
GDC registration. The successful candidate must have excellent communication
skills and a positive approach to patient centered care.
Main duties of the job
As
the qualified dental nurse you will assist the clinician in all dental
procedures, providing support and advice to the patient in the oral surgery
department. You will demonstrate compliance with the responsibilities and
registration to practice with the General Dental Council.

We provide hospital services from two acute sites - Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham. We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester-le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale as well as over 80 other community based settings and providing care in patients' homes.
