Job summary
Ward 4 is a 30 bedded Stroke Rehabilatatition ward which is
recruiting staff to be part of their team, the staff nurse is to lead and
manage their team under the direct supervision of the ward manager and ward
sisters. This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced registered
nurse who is highly motivated and enthusiastic, with a keen interest in caring
for patients with Stroke rehabilitation needs.

care.
The stroke Rehab unit is friendly and supportive and has a
commitment to providing a high quality of nursing care.
The post holder should work effectively within a
team environment, have good communication skills, initiative, demonstrate

quality patient care.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will provide leadership, clinical
expertise and organisation of the stroke rehab ward.
They will continuously develop and enhance knowledge and
skills that will directly influence consistent standards of clinical practice
and ensure the highest possible standards of evidence based care are achieved
in order to promote patient focused care.
They will promote patient centred high quality evidence
based care to patients on the ward, ensuring the patient is central to all
aspects of treatment and care.
Communicate effectively with all the multi- disciplinary
teams both internal and external to the organisation.
