An opportunity has arisen for a Band 2 data entry clerk to
support the Diabetes and Endocrine team.
The role is 26 hours per week and will be working in a team
alongside two other Data Entry Clerks.
The post will involve registering patients onto SystmOne,
scanning referrals, putting Consultant clinic lists onto SystmOne,
administering waiting lists, entering eye screening reports and supporting
administration/medical staff in a range of duties.
If successful your role will involve contact with patients,
carers and other healthcare professionals.
Good communication is key and we are looking for someone who can relate
to a range of people and communicate sometimes complex information in an
efficient and understandable way in a fast paced environment.
Main duties of the job
To provide comprehensive data entry support to the
Consultants and junior medical staff, as well as the wider team.
The post will involve maintaining up to date
patient records on SystmOne, creating rotas for clinic lists, scanning
documentation, as well as dealing with any other patient-related general correspondence. You will ensure that all clinic lists from
the hospital EPR system are entered onto SystmOne and check them regularly for
any changes before the clinic. You will
also deal with enquiries via e mail and telephone from various service users
and other healthcare providers. You
should understand the strict guidelines of confidentiality and have the ability
to prioritise and mange a diverse workload
