Main duties of the job
Three part time posts are available and Trust
wide working will be required.
Duties will include setting
up and assisting during minor skin surgery lists and undertaking the role of
circulating assistant. Printing off documentation prior to clinics and surgery
lists. Entering patient details onto Trust software e.g., SystmOne. Maintaining
a caring, calm, safe and supportive environment for patients undergoing skin
surgery and being seen in dermatology clinics.
Giving patients advice on post operative wound care. Basic wound
dressings.
Acting as chaperone.
Taking blood and
dermatology specific samples in your own clinics alongside Dermatology Doctors
and, or the Specialist nurses.
Ordering stock and stock
control. Taking on specific duties with regard to, for example, Medical
devices; Health and Safety, for example undertaking DSE risk assessments.
We are looking for someone
with experience of using their initiative in a busy environment and the ability
to work unsupervised in line with local guidelines for dermatology in
dermatology clinics and within the minor procedure skin surgery operating
rooms.

will have the opportunity and be required to travel across Trust sites.
