Main duties of the job
Main
duties include assisting in provision of effective emergency treatment to the
patients attending in a timely manner meeting the ED 4 hour target without
compromising the quality of patient care, participation in the departments
Teaching and Audit Programmes, ensure the departmental and hospital policies
and protocols are respected and adhered and maintains and carries out duties as
per GMC standards, trust policies.

We provide hospital services from two acute sites - Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham. We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester-le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale as well as over 80 other community based settings and providing care in patients' homes.

paid self-directed educational development time.
