Job summary
We are currently seeking a RN to join the
Community Nursing service. The role involves providing holistic nursing care to
adult patients in their own home or residential care setting. Sucessful
applicants will be required to hold a first level nursing registration with the
NMC, additional training specific to the role can be provided.
Main duties of the job
The Community nursing team provide both planned
and reactive care including Urgent Community Response.

We provide hospital services from two acute sites - Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham. We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester-le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale as well as over 80 other community based settings and providing care in patients' homes.
