wellbeing.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Occupational
Health & Wellbeing team at Bishop Auckland Hospital contributing to the
successful delivery of objectives set out in the associated action plans linked
to health and wellbeing and staff engagement which are designed to create a
healthy, motivated and engaged workforce.
The post holder will be a valued member of the Occupational
Health and Wellbeing Team and will provide a reaching out service to the
organisation, delivering wellbeing initiatives and meeting staff in their own
work locations.
The post will be suitable for an individual currently
working within a regulated clinical profession where there is demonstrable
transferrable skills into the field of staff wellbeing and health coaching.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be actively engaged in delivering a
range of wellbeing initiatives as required by regular evaluation of staff needs
through a trust wide health check. These will include, delivery of wellbeing
education to groups of staff and 1:1 health coaching.
A key element of the role will be to work alongside the
Trust wellbeing team to support staff in navigating currently available staff
support resources. Priority areas are stress management, sleep issues, grief,
personal health and trauma.
The post holder will be self-motivated and will be able to
work autonomously, engaging and collaborating with a wide variety of staff
groups including Care group leaderships, Staff network groups, Workforce
experience team, Wellbeing for Life and Learning and development team.
The post holder will hold a regulated
professional qualification and will be able to use existing clinical skills to
ensure appropriate, evidence based methods of practice. They will develop
health coaching skills and work within NHS England model of personalised care
in order to impact the wellbeing of Trust staff

to ensure Occupational Health and Wellbeing becomes a key Trust priority.
Work as part of the OHWB team to increase awareness and
accessibility of wellbeing offers. Provide professional advice and support to

To provide specific advice, education and support to employees
which involves communicating with clients individually and also in a group
