We have a Full time or Part time Band 2 Resourcing Assistant vacancy

The Resourcing Service (Recruitment and Staff Bank) specialises in the recruitment of NHS staff and has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Resourcing Assistant to join our dynamic team. This position is well suited to an individual that is looking to advance their career in recruitment/staff bank and gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace.

Contract variation process. Weekend working is approx. 1 in 12 weeks and 1 bank holiday per year approx.

Main duties of the job

Deal with general enquiries from managers, staff, visitors and the general public, taking and conveying messages appropriately.

General administrative duties filing, photocopying, faxing distribution, making up document packs as used in Recruitment, etc.

To receive, date stamp and sort incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail for posting.

Provide an effective, efficient and confidential reception service.

Project a professional attitude and image to uphold the reputation of the Workforce and OD Directorate.

Maintenance of photocopying machines in relation to minor issues and contacting external company to organise repairs for other issues.

To assist team members in a specific caseload of advertising and recruitment activity, basic terms and conditions administration/advice and guidance. Duties will be in line with Standard Operating Procedures, performance management targets and NHS standards.

  • Certificate in Personnel Practice or equivalent competence/ knowledge and / or NVQ Level III ITQ / ECDL or other recognised IT Qualification or equivalent knowledge gained through work experience
