County Durham and Darlington Foundation Trust are seeking motivated, dynamic New to Care Healthcare Assistants to join our team, who will complement our current experienced and specialist workforce, who are passionate about providing optimal care for our patients. if you are an experienced healthcare assistant you can also apply
Please note there will be a Recruitment Day Saturday 18th May 2024 at Bishop Auckland Hospital and you will need to be available to complete recruitment checks if appointed. The Recruitment day will include information on the role of a HCA, information on the Trust, Panel Interview and Recruitment checks.
We have a variety of roles available however bank is not available to new to care applicants

Main duties of the job
Please ensure you have full ID documents available to bring with you. Full ID information can be found on the document in supporting information and you must prepare for the day by sourcing references to cover the last 3 years (email address of employers). you must also provide GCSE certificates in English language and Maths or equivalent to match the person spec and will need to provide these on the day

To be eligible for Health and Care Worker visa sponsorship you will usually need to be paid at least £25,600 per year
We provide hospital services from two acute sites - Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham. We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester-le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale as well as over 80 other community based settings and providing care in patients' homes.
