Job summary

We are looking for a system administrator to join our busy and friendly team. The successful candidate will support payroll production by using systems and reporting . They should be able to demonstrate skills and knowledge in the effective use of IT systems in a financial or workforce function

Main duties of the job

This is an opportunity to work within the Payroll and Pension Team supporting the delivery of monthly and weekly payroll and pension service to the Trust and its subsidiary company, CDD Services.Duties include assisting with data loading monthly and weekly payments to ESR and producing standard reports. The post holder will carry out administration for salary sacrifice schemes and other staff benefit arrangements.

We provide hospital services from two acute sites - Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham. We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester-le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale as well as over 80 other community based settings and providing care in patients' homes.

Job description

Job responsibilities

Assist with ESR payroll interfaces (Health Roster and EASY expenses) including data uploads (web adi)

Produce ESR standard reports for validation of data input to ESR

Produce data output reports from ESR for stakeholders

Support on lease car administration including taxable benefits

Preparation and submission of the upload for local pension scheme deductions (NEST)

Provide all administration on Staff Benefit Strategy including validating orders for Salary Sacrifice Schemes, organising publicity to promote staff benefits and seeking new schemes to add to Staff Benefits offer

Support on staff saving scheme, TRS pages and Trust events and Roadshows promoting Staff Benefits

Engage with stakeholders on other salary deductions such as parking, childcare, credit union, trade union and others

Provide administrator function for NHSP hub reports

Assist with regular or ad-hoc projects such as Census data, Energy, ONS, Corporate Data return or TUPE data using standard reporting from ESR

Maintain shared TEAMS documents such as call log

Maintain Sharepoint, Trust intranet pages as directed.
