Rotations include: community rehabilitation, acute stroke, stroke rehabilitation, acute medical, surgery and ITU, Trauma and Elective orthopaedics, MSK outpatients and Pulmonary Rehabilitaion.

Main duties of the job

You will work alongside senior physiotherapists and the wider MDT and your development will be supported by the inpatient leads. The post holder will be responsible for a designated clinical caseload, support is available in the form of supervisions and joint working.

The role requires a dynamic physiotherapist who is able to work within the physiotherapy team and multidisciplinary team to provide exemplary care to the patient. The successful applicant will utilise their outstanding organisation and communication skills in order to support with the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of patients whilst achieving outstanding physiotherapy outcomes.

This post will include working with a diverse range of conditions in highly complex patients with physical, psychological and social care needs. You will assess, diagnose, implement and evaluate individual programmes of care for patients with a wide range of clinical needs. Band 5 rotational physiotherapists have the exciting opportunity to rotate 6 monthly between the geographrical area covered by CDDFT. The post holder will work as part of the multidisciplinary team to provide timely treatment.
