Healthcare Assistant - Recruitment Day

County Durham and Darlington Foundation Trust are seeking motivated, dynamic Healthcare Assistants to join our team, who will complement our current experienced and specialist workforce, who are passionate about providing optimal care for our patients

Please note there will be a Recruitment Day Saturday 11th November 2023 at Prospect House Durham and you will need to be available for the whole day. The Recruitment day will include information on the role of a HCA, information on the Trust, Panel Interview and Recruitment checks. Please ensure you have full ID documents available to bring with you. Full ID information can be found on the document in supporting information and you must prepare for the day by sourcing references to cover the last 3 years (email address of employers). There will be Limited Free onsite parking and you will need to attend at the time given and remain until all parts of the day are complete

Main duties of the job

Our Trust is looking for Healthcare Assistants who are able to work effectively in a variety of different settings, wards and departments as part of a multi-disciplinary team, who are committed to demonstrating our Trusts values

No Experience needed

You will need to commit to completing a healthcare certificate upon acceptance of the post

To be eligible for Health and Care Worker visa sponsorship you will usually need to be paid at least £25,600 per year

We provide hospital services from two acute sites - Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham. We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester-le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale as well as over 80 other community based settings and providing care in patients' homes.
