Job summary
An exicting opportunity is available within the Digital Health Team for a Digital Nurse to join the team. The post holder will work on their own initiative in the Digital Specialist Nurse Team supporting high quality and effective digital transformation within the organisation, specifically the delivery of training and development. At County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust we have recently undertaken digital transformation with an electronic patient record where this post will have a strong focus on the delivery and management of training both face to face and electronically. This is a great opportunity to be part of an innovative team delivering a wide range of training across the organisation in a range of settings and supporting colleagues with digital solutions in various settings.
Main duties of the job
The successful post holder would be expected to work within all aspects of the Electronic Patient Record to develop the training modules and content alongside the Training and Development Team. The post holder will work with the multidisciplinary teams responsible for specific areas of the organisation such as medicines management, clinical documentation or theatres for example. This post is the active role in delivering ongoing education for all digital projects that the team are responsible for across the organisation. The post holder will work with key individuals such as practice placement facilitators, preceptorship teams and medical education to ensure joined-up training. The Digital Health Team provide at the elbow support across the organisation for all staff relating to digital systems and the post holder would provide this alongside this role. The Digital Health Team are also involved with other digital solutions across the organisation which the post holder will have an active part in supporting, auditing and educating on.

We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester-le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale as well as over 80 other community based settings and providing care in patients' homes.
