appoint an enthusiastic staff nurse to join our team.
As a team we strive towards delivering a high

patients and relatives who have had experience of being on our ward.
Main duties of the job
Ward 1 Chester le Street is an 18
bedded elderly rehabiltation ward. We
accept patients from the acute wards, direct from accident and emergency and
from other organisations.
The main duties of the role are:
-Plan and deliver high quality of
care to patients adhering to the trust policies and procedures.
-Maintain a high standard of
documentation
-Demonstrate excellent communication
skills both written and verbal
-Plan and deliver safe admissions
and discharges
- Be responsible for the
delegation of tasks to other members of the team
-Work well as a team player but
also show initative

We provide hospital services from two acute sites - Darlington Memorial Hospital and University Hospital of North Durham. We have a centre for planned care in Bishop Auckland and provide care from community hospitals in Chester-le-Street, Shotley Bridge, Barnard Castle, Sedgefield and Weardale as well as over 80 other community based settings and providing care in patients' homes.
