County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust are looking to appoint an outstanding leader to the role of Associate Director of Operations for our Integrated Medical Specialties Care Group.
This is an exciting time to join our Trust in a key leadership role as part of our senior management team. The successful candidate will be a excpetional leader responsible for the largest clinical care group in our organisation.

Main duties of the job
The
successful post holder will be responsible for the leadership and management of
the Integrated Medical Specialties Care Group which spans front of house urgent
and emergency services, Same Day Emergency Care and Medical Assessment Units
through to the full range of inpatient and outpatient DGH medical specialties
and discharge services. You will provide strong leadership and overall
strategic direction to ensure the care we provide to our patients is at the
heart of all we do. The services are provided from 2 acute hospitals and
associated community hospitals and work closely with community services that
are an integral part of our Trust. County Durham & Darlington NHS
Foundation Trust is a large Trust providing services to a population of 640,000
and this care group has responsibility
for around 1700 staff and a budget of £120.7m
