opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Specialist Nurse who will work in the Head
& Neck Service within County Durham and Darlington Foundation Trust.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will work with the existing
Clinical Nurse Specialist team and Head and Neck Consultant team.
Their duties will include:
Providing inpatient and outpatient
holistic care and support to H&N cancer patients and their families/carers
Attend the Head and Neck MDT and
Tyroid MDT meetings
Maintain links with AHP's,
community, Macmillan and Pallaitive care teams
Triaging 2 week wait referrals as part of the
Faster Diagnosis Standard
