In this role, you'll receive robust support to develop your clinical and leadership skills. We offer a tailor-made development programme designed to match your skill set and experience. Ideally, you should be educated to master's level or be willing to undertake a master's in Advanced Clinical Practice. You will benefit from the guidance of a supportive consultant mentor and the opportunity to develop specific competencies.

If you are appointed on a Band 8a Annex 21 Contract your salary will be;
Year 1: 65% £37,276.85 per annum, pro rataYear 2: 70% £40,144.30 per annum, pro rataYear 3: 75% £43,011.75 per annum, pro rata
Main duties of the job

- Highly motivated and experienced practitionerwith substantive range of experience within a relevant clinical setting. Broad & advanced knowledge of clinical pathophysiology
- Sound level of knowledge in relation to relevant invasive and non-invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Has the knowledge and competence to support safe clinical decision making by interpreting multiple sources of complex infomation
- Broad and advanced knowledge and experience in colorectal conditions and management
- Knowledge of local and national guidelines and agendas relevant to role
- Proven leadership experience including delivering to targets and service improvement.
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to manage conflicting pressures to maintain streamline service delivery
- Leadership of teams or change initiatives
- Demonstrates current knowledge of professional and NHS issues and the implication for clinical environment.
