Job summary
This is a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn, combining training with hands on experience inside a busy Communications department.
Working alongside a team of communications professionals, you will be exposed to media relations, internal communications, design and print, social media and digital communications and will provide support to colleagues while learning on the job.
We are looking for individuals with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. You will be a good communicator and able to engage with staff at all levels. You will be organised and be full of ideas.

Training will be provided by an accredited training provider against a certified apprenticeship standard. You will be working towards a Level 4 qualification in Public Relations, and the course will last 20 months. If all pre-employment checks are completed, the earliest start date will be September 2024.
Main duties of the job
With training and support, you will be tasked with various responsibilities which will contribute to the team's role to manage communications and the reputation of the Trust. These include supporting the delivery of all internal and external communications, providing necessary administrative assistance, and serving as a guardian for Trust brand guidelines to maintain consistency. Additionally, you will also be responsible for ensuring that printed materials across Trust premises remain up-to-date, capturing imagery/video for various purposes, and contributing to the continuous updating of the Trust's digital and social media platforms.
