Job summary

Lancashire Hospitals Services (Pharmacy) Ltd is delighted to be able to offer multiple vacancies for an Outpatient Pharmacist where no two days will be the same!

Why you ask? We have three different branches which you will rotate across and with being in a hospital environment, it will enable you to develop your clinical knowledge in the multiple specialities including Oncology, Paediatrics, Neurology and many more.

If you have never worked in a hospital setting before, you will be provided with the necessary training to help you succeed. The team are friendly, helpful and supportive of one another and by working collaboratively, enable us to deliver a service that we are proud of. You will also work as part of a wider, multidisciplinary team and will regularly engage with other healthcare professionals.

Please note that we have both full and part time positions available. Full time is 36 hours per week worked over four days. For those looking for part time work you must be able to commit to at least one full 9 hour shift per week Monday to Friday 8:30am-6pm.

Main duties of the job

On a day to day basis, you will act as the Responsible Pharmacist and play a pivotal role in terms of ensuring a safe and effective environment for our patients.

You will also provide leadership and develop fantastic working relationships with other colleagues and teams.
