Job summary
Are you happy singing nursery rhymes and pretending to be a cat, dog or dinosaur? Can you be imaginative and engage children with age-appropriate therapeutic play? If so, this role may be just for you.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking paediatric physiotherapist to join paediatric therapy team at the Royal Preston hospital.
You will be supported by the Band 7s, to develop your knowledge in Ponseti clinic, cystic fibrosis, general paediatric outpatients and inpatients
Main duties of the job
You will have excellent communication and organisational skills. Previous experience of working with children is desirable however a wide range of general rotational skills at a band 5/6 level will also be considered.There is a requirement to participate in our on-call rota which also includes adults, however regular training and shadowing/mentoring opportunities will be given.
We are working towards a 7-day service and the successful candidate will be expected to participate in this service.
