Job summary

We have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our forward thinking Technical Services team where your ideas, drive and enthusiasm will be welcomed and encouraged!

Ideally you will have experience of using computers and a keen interest in Technology and Telecoms, the ability to learn quickly with anexceptional eye for detail, and enthusiasm in delivering a high-quality service.

You must be able to work in a busy environment and totight deadlines and you will need to demonstrate the ability to be self-motivated, to have initiative and to be comfortable working as partof a team.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to join our Telecoms team and provide quality administrative support and be part of the continual development of our Voice Infrastructure, with particular emphasis on the Voice Communications Network (Unify), Netcall Solution, TiGer Call Logger, GSM Gateway, Mobile Phones, Pagers, Multitone Bleep System and Call Recorder, all network services, the complete wiring network and departmental staff across 4 sites including future developments using Microsoft Teams as our key unified communications solution.

Job description

Job responsibilities

To administer the Trusts core voice infrastructures including the Netcall Solution, TiGer Call Logger, GSM Gateway, Multitone Bleep System and Call Recorder and any other existing or future technologies.

Assist with the monitoring/resolution of voice Incidents and Problems

To gather and analyse detailed call logging information as required by service users. The data is to be in a format that is easy to understand in respect of fraud, litigation and departmental issues.

Be responsible for own personal educational, keeping up to date with emerging voice technologies and infrastructures, to ensure highest possible standards of work.

To provide high levels of customer care and satisfaction

To provide supporting documentation for the departmental operational procedures and knowledge base items as appropriate

Participate in Departmental reviews, ensuring highest possible standards of work.

Deal with colleagues in a manner which promotes a positive image of yourself, the department and the departmental team

To take actions to maintain patient privacy, dignity and respect at all times

Actively try to prevent adverse issues and complaints occurring, taking appropriate action to resolve them if they do arise, and involving line manager or other team member as appropriate. Ensure that clear and concise advice is given to people on the procedures in place to address concerns.

Make changes in own practice and offer suggestions for improving services.

Liaise with other local support and/or development teams obtaining advice and/or providing solutions on voice technical issues.

Deal with enquiries in a manner that takes in to account the needs of others

Actively promote equality and recognise diversity

Work as a full member of the IT Department team

Make suggestions to improve quality of team outputs

Report any concerns about behaviour that undermine the effectiveness of team working where it is felt that personal actions taken to address the situation have been unsuccessful

As you may know the Government passed legislation requiring vaccination as a condition of deployment which was due to come in from 1 April 2022.
