Job summary
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapist to join inpatient Therapy Hub team, based at the Atherleigh Park Hospital, Leigh. This is a permanent, full-time post, mainly covering Monday to Friday. However, this may include some weekend and evening work as the department covers a 7-day service between the hours of 08.00 and 20.00. We will consider flexible/part time working hours. The applicant should be able to demonstrate relevant experience and desirably have relevant mental health experience.
Main duties of the job
The job holder will be responsible for managing a daily caseload of clients with acute and complex mental health and physical healthcare needs and completing a range of assessments and treatment plans to contribute to the discharge planning process.
Under the guidance of the Unit's Specialist Physiotherapist, they will also contribute to the planning, development and evaluation of the physiotherapy services within the in-patient unit and contribute to falls projects and training for staff within the service area. The successful candidate will provide learning support to Physiotherapy and AHP students as part of their role.
