To workcollaborativelywith service userswithin the Adult Forensic Services(both individually andin groups)toproactivelyempower themtopursuetheirpersonalrecovery pathwayand therapeutic goals.
This will be achieved by way of engaginginrelevant,meaningfulandsustainablerecoveryopportunities, accessing community-basedresourcesand regaining a socially inclusive roleand lifestyle within the wider community setting. This post is based at Newlands.
Main duties of the job
The post holder is expected to workover a7 dayperiodwith service users infacilitatingand enabling leaveto ensure that therapeuticobjectivesareattainedas part of the serviceusersrecovery and progress towards discharge.
The post holder will have the necessary skills and competencies in escorting patients and will also planandreport onindividual service user leaveand provideinformation and data tomonitoruse of therapeutic leave across the service.
