Job summary

To coordinate an identified range of activities to support service users and members of the recovery community; delivering appropriate opportunities and events, liaising with families, carers, and other professionals where appropriate to ensure that service users benefit from a range of recovery and citizenship options.

As a senior practitioner you will also support the team managers in providing an effective and efficient service by taking a lead role in service developments within your area of specialism, and by managing a designated group of staff.

Main duties of the job

This role will drive the expansion of the Next Steps Network alongside existing community development offers to ensure effective and efficient delivery of asset based wellbeing offers.

With peer co-production at the heart of design and delivery, the post holder will be responsible for increasing inclusion, the reduction of stigma and the growth of visible recovery communities utilising the value of lived experience in line with the GMMH Together Strategy.
