An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Pharmacy Department Meadowbrook clusterfor twoRotational fulltimeDispensing Pharmacy Assistants, to work alongside the pharmacy team supporting the dispensary and wards across multiple sites based in Salford, Wythenshawe and Trafford.Duties to include dispensing of medication, the supply of stocks to wards and clinics, carry out audits,receipt of goods in and general housekeeping.

You should have a good standard of Maths and English and be qualified to NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent. (Dispensing modules as a minimum)

It is advisable to research the locations to better understand the impact on travel and to apply as soon as possible as the post may close early if sufficient applications are received.

Main duties of the job

Visiting wards for stock supplies and in patient top ups (including secure units)

Dispensing of medication including supplies for clozapine clinics

Answering the phone/hatch

Stock rotation and date checking

Preparing for scheduled delivery runs

Receipting and putting away daily orders

Drug returns
