Main duties of the job

  • City and Guilds 7061 & 7062, NVQ 2 Food Preparation or equivalent demonstratable experience.
  • Level 2 in Food Safety.
  • HACCP

Desirable

  • Trained Level 3 or 4 Food safety
  • Allergen Level 3
  • HACCP Advanced

Skills

Essential

  • Organisational skills in delivering a quality food service to patients, staff, and visitors
  • Ability to motivate staff, individuals, and teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Desirable

  • Approachable/confident/engaging
  • Working knowledge of staff engagement Be familiar with and have knowledge of temperature and HACCP monitoring systems
  • Previous Large-scale cooking
