Job summary
This post 37.5 hours per week full time, fixed term until December 2025. Flexible working and secondments would be considered. The post holder will work within the GMMH Central Research Delivery team to support the running of the ADEPP trial across Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust (GMMH). This includes identifying and recruiting participants and supporting service users and clinical teams involved in studies as required. Additionally the post-holder will actively promote the ADEPP trial to clinicians and service users. The post holder will liaise with lead clinical investigators and the trial sponsor to support the management and delivery of the trial protocol, and will be involved in ensuring that the research undertaken safeguards the well-being of the participants and is conducted within research governance legislation and Trust policies for Research. Post holders will be expected to participate fully in their personal development and review process in order to achieve the objectives for this post. Post holders must be prepared to work across the GMMH geographical footprint.
Main duties of the job
- To assist with the smooth day-to-day running and completion of this research project by supporting the project manager and the PI
- To assist in the recruitment of participants to assess the eligibility of potential participants
- To explain clearly and in detail the study to participants and to answer their queries regarding the research
- To monitor blinding procedures and ensure blinding is maintained
- To adhere to the service specification and quality standards of NHS trust policies, particularly relating to confidentiality and risk, and to also oversee programme policies in relation to confidentiality and risk
- To ensure that ethics procedures and HRA/ R and I governance procedures are followed.
- To assist in the preparation of Powerpoint presentations
