Job summary

You must have been in the UK for 12 months prior to applying for this post and be able to provide a 6 year address history to be able to complete the prison clearance.

We welcome applicants who have a genuine interest in working within the Health and Justice setting in prison. The successful applicant will receive regular clinical and managerial supervision along with excellent training and development opportunities within GMMH.

The working hours of the successful candidates will be a Monday to Friday across the core working day.

The post holder will be supported with the security checking procedure (Counter terrorism Clearance) to enable them to work in a High Secure Environment, which must be kept up to date as a condition of employment.

You must have lived in the UK and be able to provide 3 years worth of addresses to validate your application. Unfortunately, you will not be shortlisted if you are unable to demonstrate this. This is a mandatory requirement of the enhance prison clearance required for the role.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a suitably qualified PWP with experience of working with adults in a mental health setting to join our in-reach team at HMP Manchester.

You will be working as part of our passionate multi-disciplinary team and identify and deliver appropriate therapies to the population of the prison.
