Job summary

The Psychological Therapies Division is offering 2 exciting Operational Managerial roles. We have one substantive post within the Trafford IAPT Service based in Altringham and a 12 month Maternity Leave cover within the Central Manchester IAPT Service Based in Chorlton.

GMMH Psychological Therapies Division is a large IAPT reporting service for people experiencing common mental health disorders. We consist of Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners, Cognitive Behavioural Therapists, Counsellors, Mental Health Practitioners and Psychologists. We are committed to reducing the suffering caused to our population by anxiety and depression-related problems regardless of chronicity, severity of distress or functional limitation. The Division is well established and highly valued

The Operational Manager post provides an ideal opportunity for the right candidate to develop into a more senior managerial role and gain valuable management experience within a highly supportive management team. For those already with management experience, this role would provide you with the additional challenges of taking day to day responsibility for managing the demand and flow within a large IAPT reporting service.

Main duties of the job

These high quality services comprises of stable and well established ranges of Step 2, Step 3 and the non IAPT reporting Step 3+ provision of treatment. The roles will include an aspect of direct line management responsibility across all clinical steps, a crucial dimension which allows a deep understanding of the components that contribute to the overall service performance.

The role is well supported by confident and well established Team Leaders and Clinical Lead in each area. You will also be supported by the Senior Leadership Team and the Service Manager.
