A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a fully CCAB / CIMA qualified, highly motivated, experienced, and innovative senior finance leader, to join Greater Manchester Mental Health Foundation Trust's (GMMH) Finance & Procurement Team, as the Associate Director of Financial Strategy, Costing & Innovation.
This exciting role is integral to the development of GMMH as a leader in Mental Health provision. It is a great opportunity to help to shape the future of mental health finance, and work closely with the Director of Finance and senior team, on innovative ways of working - both corporately and clinically.

Main duties of the job
The Associate Director is responsible for driving the development, delivery, and robust financial governance, of the Trust's strategically diverse clinical and commercial income portfolio.
Close working with the Trust's Contracting Team is required, to provide financial scrutiny and assurance across all income related contracts and funding agreements.
The role is also responsible for providing strong financial leadership to GMMH's maturing 'Lead Provider Collaborative' (LPC) models, the Trust's Costing Team, and for strategic business partnering - and locality financial engagement - across two 'Care Groups'.
The role includes responsibility for overseeing the Trust's annual and longer term strategic financial plans, as well as the monthly reporting cycle related to income and LPC arrangements.
The post holder will lead a dynamic team, to foster a culture of innovation and fresh thinking; identifying areas to influence emerging policy and guidance, as well as providing substantial opportunity to shape the future of the finance function.
