Job summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated registered practitioner to join our existing team as a clinical team manager for the non-custodial health and justice community team.

The successful candidate will influence the quality of patient care, monitor team activity and productivity. They will support the structure of a healthy team's approach to promote empowerment and inclusion. The team manager will be responsible for safer staffing, quality care, safe practice, managerial supervision, staff wellbeing, promoting attendance, developing pathways, meeting with stakeholders, monitoring the patients journey and recruitment.

Main duties of the job

In this role you will assist with the day-to-day management and leadership of the team. In addition you will provide both clinical and line management supervision to team members and deputise for/support the operational programme manager with other aspects of service development and delivery.

Clinical time will include direct contact with people accessing the service for mental health and vulnerabilities. You will undertake initial conversation/assessments and interventions with people as part of the agreed operational procedures.

  • Registered professional RMN qualification and registration with RCN

Desirable

  • Post qualification certificate in a desirable subject
  • Non medical prescribing qualification

Experience

  • Experience within a leadership role including managing staff & supervision

  • Experience of assessment, formulation and intervention with MH issues.
