Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join the GMMH Corporate Safeguarding Team as one of the Trusts Workforce Development Officer.
The post holder will plan, develop, deliver and evaluate training in line with national and local requirements to staff across the whole of GMMH.
Evidence of a recognised training qualification is desirable as well as experience in practice and training of the required subject matter.
Main duties of the job
To review current safeguarding training provision within the Trust
To work with the Corporate Safeguarding Team, Safeguarding local leads and Learning and Development in order to devise, deliver and evaluate training/development programmes and record training compliance
To support and deliver on the safeguarding training strategy that is in place that is in line with national and local expectations and delivered within the organization and ensure the Trust carries out its duties with respect to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults
To promote effective practice, through training, that enables staff to identify and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns.
To undertake safeguarding audits and reflect on the areas in the trust that need further development or have different training needs.
