  • We have a fantastic opportunity for Band 7 practitioner to develop their career within Wigan Youth Offending Team and Wigan CAMHS
  • We are recruiting a Senior CAMHS clinician to work within our SPOA team in Wigan CAMHS and our Youth Offending team as the CAMHS specialist Practitioner
  • The role will include working as part of the MDT within CAMHS and completion of clinical assessment formulation risk management and appropriate short term therapeutic interventions within YOT
  • You will be the key CAMHS practitioner supporting mental health concerns within YOT

Main duties of the job

As a Senior Mental Health Practitioner, the post holder will provide a specialised role in the development and implementation of services and care pathways for children and young people with mental health [CYPMH] problems within the THRIVE Framework for service delivery specifically to our Youth Offending Team.

  • This role is a dynamic role working into YOT and supporting Mental health and risk support with the YOT and CAMHS population
  • The role will include working as part of the MDT, and into YOT completing Triage calls, consultations, training ,clinical assessment formulation risk management and appropriate short term therapeutic interventions and case management.
