An exciting opportunity has arisen for a number of CBT roles in
Think Wellbeing Wigan: NHS Talking Therapies for Anxiety and Depression.
We are an integrated step 2 and step 3 NHS Talking Therapy service which supports people experiencing common mental health disorders. You will join our step 3 CBT therapists in providing a mixture of face to face and virtual appointments as part of your role.
We are seeking to recruit a number of enthusiastic and dedicated CBT's to join our team. We have a reputation for creating an enjoyable and supportive work environment and wish to bring others in who share our values.
Main duties of the job
The post holders will be primarily responsible for providing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to working age clients with 'common' mental health needs in primary healthcare settings in the Wigan borough.
The post holder will work within the procedures, protocols and guidelines for the Service.
The post holder will plan and organise their work schedule and tasks, having managerial and clinical supervision as the role demands.
The service is committed to improving access for clients and offering flexible working hours for staff. There is an expectation of some evening working.
The successful applicants will join an experienced group of CBT therapists and benefit from close support from the teams Clinical Lead and management team. There are excellent opportunities for shared learning and continuing professional development.
