We are keen to recruit an experienced clinical psychologist 8B to provide psychological leadership to the Ealing Model pathway across Bolton and Wigan that aligns across the Greater Manchester footprint.
Main duties of the job
To provide psychological leadership to the Ealing Model Pathway across Bolton and Wigan.
In collaboration with other senior members of the CAMH services, to contribute to ongoing strategic planning and development of the Ealing Model Pathway, in liaison with other CAMHS specialists, service commissioners, purchasers and multi-agency partners.
To provide a highly specialist clinical psychology service to children, young people, families and their care systems across the Bolton and Wigan districts. This includes: providing highly specialist psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for children, young people and their families / carers; close liaison with other disciplines and agencies such as health partners, social care, education and Thrive networks; offering consultation and training about client's psychological care to no psychologist colleagues; training professional and non-professionals groups on mental health issues; providing clinical supervision within the psychological services staff group and within the MDT; utilising skills for research, audit, policy and service development. To include functional behaviour assessment leading to the development of Positive Behaviour Support Plans for young people with learning disabilities whose behaviour challenges.

Essential
- Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology (or its equivalent) as accredited by the BPS
- Demonstrate models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics and Neuropsychology, two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology.
- Registration with Health Professions Council as Practising Psychologist
Desirable
- Pre-qualification training and qualifications in research methodology, staff training &/or other fields of applied psychology
- Additional Training in provision of therapy

- Experience during training of specialist psychological assessment, formulation and intervention with clients across the full range of care settings, including outpatient, community, primary care and inpatient settings.
