Job summary
Cromwell House, a well achieving, busy CMHT in Salford is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated Senior Practitioner for Nursing.
We are looking for a Band 7 RMN who has a passion for adult mental health and has good organisation, communication and leadership skills and can clinically lead their team of professionals in meeting the needs of service users with acute and complex mental health needs.
Community Services are becoming fast paced and rapidly changing to support the community transformation strategies, you will therefore need to demonstrate resilience in the ability to adapt to the changing landscape and opportunities as the service develops.
You will have RMN qualification and a valid current registration, with experience of identifying physical health needs and will have experience of working with adults with mental health difficulties. Leadership experience is desirable. With support from the CMHT manager you will provide managerial and clinical leadership support to enable the delivery of key challenges and monitor the work of the team

Main duties of the job
To undertake and record comprehensive risk assessment, and implement evidence based therapeutic interventions based on the recovery model and personalisation agenda.
To take responsibility for managing a ring-fenced caseload of service users, with complex mental health needs.
To provide line management supervision to community nurses, to assit in learning and development.
To undertake local audits and reviews in line with national/local standards and service developments as required.
Ensure systems are in place for, Duty, triage and assessment, Allocation, transfer and discharge / closure of case responsibility, depot, clozapine and lithium clinics
Participate in bronze on-call management rotas as required.
Act up for the Team Manager as required.
To lead on Team Management Reviews and take responsibility for implementing action recommendations arising.
